Regular Good Beer Guide entry, the General Havelock remains popular with groups of all ages. The interior is adorned with an eclectic selection of bric-a-brac and antiques. It has been run by the same family since Fuller's acquired it in 1986. There are four ales available at all times on handpump including a range of seasonals and guests. The pub has a cosy feel in the winter while the garden makes for a peaceful haven in the Summer.
